Expansion of the Böblingen mineral thermal baths. Invited competition by the city of Böblingen / 1st prize and realization. The expansion has developed as a specific response to the existing building, which was built by the previous office approximately 10 years ago. The existing designs will be adopted and consistently continued. The expansion takes place in the southern sauna area with additional sanitary areas, restaurants, relaxation area, fireplace room and sauna garden. In the eastern area, the administrative level is being expanded. In the west, a crystalline winter garden will be added as an additional relaxation area, and a wellness area will be added as an extension of the building. The architecture of the extension is deliberately reserved so as not to impair the distinctiveness of the existing building.
